First time trying Haitian food/coming here and absolutely won't be my last. These flavor palettes (and serving sizes) are my saving grace. The fish entree comes with a lovely mix of onions and peppers which pairs so well with this pickled orange side sauce. Tangy, tender, and crispy. Also tried the beef and eggplant entree. Super delish. Savory and smokey. I love all the sides too. The white side (barley?) is so buttery and oily. It holds so well on its own, but my favorite is the brown side (millet?) because it is so fragrant and powerful. The workers spoke little English, which I absolutely do not mind, so good old finger pointing will do you wonders here, if you need!

So, here's the deal. I walked into Good Taste knowing full damn well I'm lactose intolerant, right? But when I saw that mac and cheese on the menu, all common sense went out the window. Lactose? Never heard of her! I ordered it, and man, let me tell you, it was worth every bit of digestive distress that followed. That mac and cheese was so good, I'm convinced it could heal broken hearts--cheesy, creamy, and baked to golden perfection. I knew I was playing with fire, but I couldn't stop myself. It was like each bite was a delicious, cheesy dare to my stomach, and I was all in. I finished the whole thing like a champ, too, knowing full well I'd be paying the price later. But hey, no regrets! And let's not forget the griot. That pork was so tender, crispy, and flavorful that it made me forget I'd just waged war with dairy. If mac and cheese was the fire, griot was the extinguisher, putting out the flames of my lactose rebellion with each bite of porky goodness. Look, was I uncomfortable later? Heck yeah! But was it worth it? Absolutely. I'd do it all over again for that mac and cheese. Lactose intolerant? Pfft. At Good Taste, I'm just intolerant of missing out on good food.

It's a take out location. I find the food good & the staff are helpful. I see others giving low scores based on whether certain dishes are available, which isn't fair. Obviously the quality of the food is good but there are plenty of other options or just visit the establishment when that particular item is available. I've visited this establishment several times & once there was something I wanted that was not available but the staff told me immediately what day it would be. Definitely recommend this place.

Good Haitian good. Long lines to checkout. There needs to be more than one register as you get the food fast but wait from 5-15 minutes to pay for food, Especially on a Sunday.

Definitely under estimated this place... the smell from outside lured me in especially after I made a bet with a friend that it wouldn't be that great... I lost the bet lol . The service was very pleasant and patient. The options were endless and fresh. It was very busy but the they were moving very quick to complete everyone's order. The turnover of food was quick so new trays were coming out every 15 minutes which was good. I went with the fish fillet, and brown rice which comes with 2 sides green plantains and baked Haitian Mac, exquisite. I also got the legume with white rice and black beans, mouth watering. My friend had the fried goat with pigeon peas rice, amazing. I must say this was by far the best Haitian food I've had in a long time, it definitely felt like home and the price was just right. I'll definitely be coming back here
